Nelson Mandela said that sport has the power to change the world. It gives people the belief that the impossible can happen. But that’s only true of those who are dedicated, passionate and follow their dreams. Through this campaign, we aimed to show South Africans that this was possible not just for sports stars, but for the everyday person as well.

We asked South Africans to identify the greatest game in their own lives: and we heard stories of parents working to provide for their children against all odds, to community leaders taking the initiative to improve the lives of many.

The campaign rolled out through television, outdoor, an online portal for sharing stories, on-the-ground activations and social media platforms.

I was fortunate enough to take on the responsibility of heading up the creative for the lead agency, Jupiter, working with multiple partner agencies and helping to orchestrate a successful campaign.
